About Us
Sundaravel Match Industries is one of the top manufacturing units of Matches, Chemicals and Fireworks operating from Sivakasi, the center of fireworks. We are engaged in various other activities like Chemicals, Printing, Plantations, Transport and Educational Institutions. The foundation stone of Sundaravel Match Industries was laid down in 1969 by Shri. S. S. Sankaralingam who had immense exposure in Safety Match Industry. Respecting the social obligations the company expands green areas by promoting plantation activities and Educational institutions have also been opened that are run by the family trust. We are the largest manufacturer of handmade Safety Matches that have very good quality and are safe to use. We have a well organized network of dealers and our own stock points at various parts of the country.

Sundaravel Group has 21 Safety Matches manufacturing units with the capacity to manufacture 3 Million Safety Match Boxes per day catering to the demand of the market. We have been employing around 5000 people besides giving employment to 5000 families indirectly. Due to our commitment to the society, most of the activities at our manufacturing unit are manual inspite of the advancement of technology.
